The McCabe Digital Library at Swarthmore College supports a range of student-centered activities: a lounge, eating nook, kitchen, and flexible study and lecture space.
The lecture area is outfitted with several dozen Flip-Top tables that can be arranged for group work or as a lecture hall. In addition, the Flip-top tables can be stowed away to open up the space for other activities as needed. To further support student work, there are several mobile markerboards and a mobile storage partition where supplies are kept.
Cava Architects developed a wall panel system that allows the space to be partially or fully closed off from the rest of the library.
Milder Furniture developed an ADA height-adjustable lectern, especially for Swarthmore.

The Display Cart offers a 2 tier display with storage underneath. The unit is great for retail environments as well as workspaces. The below desktop storage includes an adjustable shelf and two sliding doors with a lock. The 45″ tall unit is easy to move and an excellent addition to any store, show, or showroom. The Critter Display Island is an elegant retail fixture for merchandise display for stores or showrooms. The tiers are 10″, 20″ and 30″ in diameter and 62″ tall. Panels are in 18mm birch plywood. The first tier panel is routed to 1/2″ depth (1/2″ rim) w/ white HPL inset. The unit comes with casters.
Center vertical support is 1 3/8″ OD aluminum tubing, brushed, and anodized clear. All other vertical supports are 1 1/16″ OD aluminum tubing, brushed, and anodized clear.
The multi-tier mobile display island offers ample room for changing retail displays. The units are available in single (47″x47″) and double-wide (72″x47″) and come with 2-5 levels. Options include pegboard panels for hanging merchandise and other hardware. Custom sizes available for specialty retail.

Milder T-shirt Display System uses a prefinished birch frame to display the T-shirt design. The frame panel is attached with a hinge that, when lifted, reveals a storage cubby. Additional open storage available below.

Full height free standing screen from 3/4” birch plywood and 1/4” transparent or translucent acrylic. Partition shield is 72″ tall by 47″, with a 15″ wide base.
Vertical supports in 1 1/16”ø aluminum tubing, brushed and clear anodized finish.
Side tables are the perfect accompaniment for any lounge or seating area and are available in a variety of sizes and shapes; the tables are 12″ to 24″ tall. Casters are optional. Side tables may include interior panels to form compartments (cubbies).
